Fig Bonsai in the Temperate Climate

This wonderful book has been written by our own Leong Kwong from Sydney.  Leong owns the Bonsai South Nursery in Caringbah, Sydney.  His nursery is outstanding and like myself you will be surprised as to the styling quality of his trees. 

Leong has a wealth of knowledge stored in his head and has for some time been writing down his observations and experience of just how ficus bonsai grow in the temperate climates.   We are indeed lucky to be able to have this knowledge close at hand so we too can create wonderful fig bonsai. 

Most of us have books originating from the Northern Hemisphere in which very little relates to our own growing climate.  In this book everything he talks about relates to us here is South East Queensland.  He often talks of day and night temperatures as an indication of when or what is happening which is a great guide for anyone living outside the Sydney environment.

Figs are wonderful trees suitable for Bonsai in most parts of Australia and now we have the book to guide us to achieve that masterpiece in our collection.
